Using new concepts to make the most of copper’s qualities

Press release / (Pinneberg / D) The unique, patented processing method of SCHAUMANN increases the antimicrobial effect of copper by altering the properties of its molecules. This also achieves a longer retention time in the gastrointestinal tract, maximising the contribution to the stabilisation of intestinal flora.

In the overall concept of supplying copper to weaned piglets, in combination with aminotrace-Cu-bis-lysinate, MiCu guarantees the supply of the animals while ideally utilising the bacteriostatic effect.

The use of MiCu in SCHAUMANN mineral feeds for piglets thus promotes their health and performance without exceeding the prescribed maximum quantities.
